For autumn winter 2003 Richard has designed a collection that is both practical for day and glamorous for evening.

Wool crepe, knit, patchwork tweed and wool boucle have been used extensively and mixed in such a way as to provide the busy woman of today with an endless wardrobe to meet her diverse needs.

The shapes are simple and spare, neat fitted jackets and coats with pencil skirts or cigarette trousers and a touch of opulence is added with the use of faux fur trims.

Add to these the Chanel inspired L.B.D. (B=Black or Brown) and the look becomes one of chic and sophistication.

The colours for day are classic brown and cream, but used in complimentary textures.

For evening the colours are inspired by Biba, the style guru of the sixties who will always be remembered for her rich matoon, indigo, damsonand bottle dresses

.

Simple dresses worn under Belle Epoch jackets with exaggerated kimono sleeves trimmed with fur or silk form the basis of ahead turning eveningwear collection.

Choice for evening is all-important.For a more relaxed look, black matt jersey "double"dresses and tunics trimmed with olive or copper organza, often worn with matching trousers give a relaxed feelto classic lines while puce jersey 1s used for drama and colour.
